There are many ways to support our students!
Then see what fits best with your likes, schedule and resources.

The majority of the funds that support our band activities and scholarships come from the fundraisers we host throughout the year. Our most notable is our sale of Stratford Homecoming Mums which are made with love by Stratford volunteers. If you would like to buy a HOCO mum, you can go directly to our store by clicking here, or if you would like to volunteer, you can see how to register for Mum Workshop Reminds by clicking here.
Additional fundraising consists of Tamale Sales in the wintertime, and Mulch Sales in the spring. More details on those opportunities to come! -
We are extremely thankful for our community sponsors! Sponsor donations not only support the Stratford Band and Guard, but they also forge a connection between us and those around us! For more information, visit our donor page here (click here to go directly to donor page.)

Mum Central: There are lots of opportunities to help with this. A family volunteers their house for all the mum making. You can work during the week or on weekends with the many aspects of mum making. No experience or crafting talent necessary. This is a GREAT way to meet other band parents and is always lots of fun. This is the Band’s main fundraiser during the year, if interested, please contact the Mum Workshop at StratfordBandMums@gmail.com. Text "@mums2024" to x81010 for Reminds.
Band Rush: Help with Band Rush at the beginning of the year. We especially need help with alterations if you have some sewing skills. If interested, please contact the Band Booster Membership Chair.
Scholarship Committee: Reviews senior scholarship applications and award scholarship. If interested in heading up this committee, please contact the Band Booster President. A Sign-upGenius will be sent out after the Spring Concert for committee member volunteers.
Hospitality: After our concerts we host a reception in the cafeteria and need a volunteer to coordinate this effort. If interested contact the Booster President for more information.

The Sponsorship Committee also needs your help!
One of the vital parts of our Booster efforts is to help provide support to the band and colorguard programs is to find support from businesses and supporters throughout our community. The Sponsorship Committee leading these efforts needs your help!
We are asking parents to both help identify, as well as reach out to, employers and local businesses to ask for their support. If you have any suggested businesses or known contacts, we would love for you to connect with them to present our donation opportunities! In an effort to avoid duplicate contacts to the same businesses, please email the names/companies to shsbandmembership@gmail.com , or text them to fellow parent and committee member, Christine Mediamolle at (713) 515-1614, to ensure they aren't already on our list!
This call for help is timely because we are nearing the date (September 1st) when the window for some of our donor benefits closes, such as inclusion on our banner on Dairy Ashford and optional recognition as a Supper Club sponsor at football games. Please read through the attached document, outlining more details about the donor/sponsorship levels and benefits Boosters are offering this year. This information and additional details is also available on our website at https://www.stratfordband.com/donations.
Thank you in advance for all your help making our 2024 Sponsor Drive successful!
